Switch Host Team
Create a comfortable environment so students can be open to the truth of God’s Word. This includes our Hospitality Team and Greeting Team.

Position Tasks:

  • Create a high energy, welcoming atmosphere for every student who walks into the building.
  • Greet students with a high-five, handshake, fist bump, or whatever gesture fits your style!
  • Help students check in or register new students for check in.
  • Help set up and tear down food or drinks for Wednesday night experience.
  • Re-stock snacks and drinks at the cafe.
  • Hand out snacks and drinks to students during the experience.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for students.

Switch Small Groups
Invest in students by leading a small group where they can build friendships, grow in their faith, and serve with others.

Position Tasks:

  • Create a high energy, welcoming atmosphere for every student.
  • Invest in a group of boys or girls helping them grow their faith and learn about Jesus.
  • Lead/co-lead small group with prepared message guide to discuss the night's message and how God is moving in their lives. 
  • Reach out to students throughout week encouraging them.
  • Meet outside of Switch with small group continuing to invest in them and leading them to Jesus.

Switch Tech Team
Be a worshipper who builds worshippers. Serve on stage and behind the scenes to help people connect with God through weekly worship services, social media, and photography.

Position Tasks:

  • Social Media—Help people engage with Uncommon Life through your location’s social media channels.  
  • Photography—Visually capture all the fun at Switch. 
  • Tech—Help set the stage for students to experience God through lighting, slides, and more.
  • Band & Vocals—Lead students to worship God through music. (Requires an audition)

Switch Ops Team
Lead students to next steps in their relationship with Christ by managing systems, leading volunteer teams, partnering with other Switch teams, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Position Tasks:

  • Create a high energy, welcoming atmosphere for every student.
  • Create a safe, clean environment for all students.
  • Help with set up and tear down of all games and equipment for Wednesday night.
  • Help with day-to-day tasks which include sending cards to new students, birthday cards to students, managing check in data, and other administrative tasks throughout the week.
  • Keeping watchful eye on activities inside and outside building to minimize threats and maintaining safety.
